This weapon also acts as a large lightning rod. All Raiton based attacks aimed at the user or activating around the user is drained into the hammer, and charges it with the same amount of chakra used in the Raiton attack, without harming the relic's wielder. (This does not apply to the lightning produced by the relic's wielder, or the lightning produced by the relic itself.) The possession of Kanadzuchi no Raijin give the user access to not only immense strength, but the secret techniques of the great Lightning God himself.[/ul]

The hammer never loses momentum unless directed, and flies at speeds roughly x3 that of an average shinobi. The stacked charges are continuously released from the hammer doing this time, and once emptied the hammer will fall from the user's control, and revert to its dormant state. Kanadzuchi no Raijin is required.

The shock wave's force covers 15 meters in all directions, and is powerful enough to launch those caught in its path nearly ten meters into the air. This technique only works if the user is in direct contact with Kanadzuchi no Raijin.

Kanadzuchi no Ouhoyamatsumi (Mountain God’s War-Hammer)

History is riddled with tales of lore, painting vivid pictures of a time when titans roamed the earth and gods ruled the heavens. While there are those who have received far more fame and credit than others, each seem to have influenced no small portion of the world and its many cultures. Kanadzuchi no Ouhoyamatsumi is but a sliver of this influence and legacy, said to be born from the will of a magnificent being equally as great as the fabled Kanadzuchi no Raijin.

Regardless of whether this war-hammer’s elaborate history is truth of fiction is irrelevant, as the power it bestows upon its wielder is very real. The most prominent aspect of the hammer is that it is impossible for anyone one other than the true owner to lift. When not in owner’s hand, or on their person, the hammer is said to “take on the weight of the world,” rooting itself in place wherever it may be; there is no amount of force capable of removing it. Furthermore, the immediate vicinity surrounding the hammer (one meter in all directions) is, likewise, immune to being moved or destroyed by any manner of force or devastation. Therefore, the only way to pass Ouhoyamatsumi from one person to the next is to kill the previous owner.

As a weapon, Ouhoyamatsumi generates catastrophic levels of destruction. Imbued with the very essence of earth, the mace is latent with what has been commonly referred to as “Earth’s Bane.” For a single Mid increment of chakra, the user can activate the hammer’s prime ability; once it connects with any manner of doton-based constructs, no matter the size or strength, the technique will immediately break it down into dust and debris.

This ability paves the way for the second, which allows the user to recreate any construct they have “destroyed”, at any point in their history of holding the hammer, free of cost. Techniques dismantled by the war-hammer’s Earth’s Bane are stored within the hammer’s head, almost like a library. At any time, the user can conjure these creations (without seals) to do their bidding, or however they see fit to use them.

Finally, the user is immune to all forms of knock-backs (or being “thrown in the air via shock-waves”, for that matter) while this war-hammer is in their possession.

Jishin (Earthquake)

This technique allows the user to effectively change the battlefield, in a sense. By constantly feeding chakra into the war-hammer, the user can generate powerful “quakes” – that span out ten meters in all directions from the user – with every step they take. This allows them to constantly dishevel their enemy’s footing, while they remained entirely unaffected by the ability.

Note: Though this technique does not have hand seals, it does have an “active” and “non-active” period. From the moment you decide to use this technique, the ability is “active” – it will remain so until you decide to cancel it. Once you cancel it, this ability cannot be used again for five turns.


Sekijun (Stalagmite)

Using its natural attunement to the earth, this technique allows the user to generate large stalagmite from any form of earth with a swing of the mace, firing them off toward their enemies. These massive spires are roughly six feet long, and over three feet around. Hardened and fashioned by the hammer’s powerful chakra, these projectiles can pierce up to four feet of solid concrete. Despite their size, they travel frighteningly fast.

Note: A maximum of five spires can be generated per swing. A maximum of twenty spires can be generated per turn.


Nami no Tsuchi (Earth Wave)

Nami no Tsuchi is arguably the largest technique the war-hammer is able to generate. By slamming the hammer’s head against the earth, an enormous amount of chakra is fed into the terrain which manifests is a large, tsunami-like wall of dirt, stone, and the debris of whatever constructs are swallowed by this wave and grinded into its folds. This wave reaches a maximum peak of thirty meters high, and spans nearly twenty meters wide. Presuming it travels unopposed, it will continue on for nearly one hundred meters before settling back into the ground.

Note: One this technique is fired off, it moves in a linear line and cannot be controlled by the user. This technique “attacks” anything, and everything, in its path.
