It is unknown just when this clan came into fruition, but it is common knowledge that it's mutation is a fairly recent one. The Kurikata clan has a body structure unique to many of the shinobi world. Their bones, skin, and organs are made of a slightly more manipulative structure than most humans. Members of this clan are able to actively shape their bodies into many different shapes and many different sizes, and commonly use this mutation as an unorthodox fighting style.

A Kurikata's shaping ability is similar to an artisan shaping clay, and they bare a strong affinity for the Earth element due to their clay like structures. Many shinobi of this clan call Iwagakure their home, yet they have branched out across the lands. For many years this clan's mutation would suddenly appear in royal families, and would be seen as a bad omen. Millions of children would be abandoned or left in forests to die, or be seen as a burden to their families, and ultimately, killed. It wasn't until recent years that this clan's bloodline was seen as a possible war asset, and many possessors of this clan's bloodline trait were subjected to a Contract. The Contract itself was fairly simple, instead of being blacklisted, or abandoned, human's showing this specific Kekkei Genkai where enlisted amongst the ranks of their respective villages shinobi, and would thus be protected.

Now the clan members have organized embassies in numerous villages, and are working to accurately predict the cause behind their mutation, as well as use their abilities to establish themselves as a respectable house. While no clan leader has been established, there is a task force controlled by the embassies that seeks out shinobi possessing the clan's unique bloodline. The purpose of this task force is to secure and track the activity of shinobi capable of using the molding techniques of this clan, and bring them into their fold as well as teach them to control their abilities, so they may then be sent to serve whatever Kage enlists their services.

MASTERY

[/b] This mastery allows Kurikata members to transcend their connection to the earth. With this mastery all constructs and transformation are improved dramatically! By concentrating the density of their bodies, their transformations can become far more durable! Instead of being as hard as stone the techniques are as hard as steel!


-Tier Two - Heavy Handed: Even when their bodies are not under the effects of their shaping techniques, Kurikata clansmen bear a natural affinity for Taijutsu. Couple this with their unusual bodies, and inhumane level of durability, and they are as close to a fighting savant as one could get! As such they are naturally more formidable than your average shinobi and their earthly builds allows them a extreme strength bonus (equivalent to that of the 2nd Gate). In addition the chakra cost required to perform all Kurikata and Doton based jutsu are reduced by a single tier.


-Tier Three - Silly Puddy: The Kurikata's ability to turn themselves into a construct of clay is no doubt a pinnacle in the world of earth users. However, even this is limited to a certain period of time. And while they have not found a way to completely remove the need to turn themselves back into their human forms, there are a few masterful shinobi within the Kurikata that have extended the number of times they are capable of executing this fabled ability.

A Master Kurikata of this level have effectively doubled the amount of turns they can turn their body into clay, as well as the number of times they can convert a single appendage into clay (This means the user will be able to convert their entire body into clay a total of ten times per thread, and a limb up to twenty times per thread).

Bukakkou no Jutsu (Shapeless Technique)

[/b] This technique is a prerequisite for ALL other Kurikata techniques. The user may change their entire body into clay a maximum of five times per thread. However, the user may convert any appendage into clay a total of ten times per thread. Due to being able to transform themselves into clay at any point in time, though converting two limbs at once counts as two uses, all Kurikata are practically invulnerable to non-elemental physical strikes, however they are extremely susceptible to Raiton. This is due to their body becoming electrified while the heat dries out certain parts of their body it creates extremely fragile stress points that when broken will leave the Kurikaa as puddle of clay.

Gyouketsu no Jutsu (Solidification Technique)

[/b]While hardened, the user is also heavier, therefore, they become incapable of high speed movements such as Shunshin, and their speed is halved. The user can withstand techniques of B rank and below.

[/b]Transformation only alter the shape and chakra signature, the user's weight is completely unaffected. While the chakra channeling may be mimicked, Kekkei Genkai, and other releases be it elemental or a clan's technique, cannot be used. Penetrative Doujutsu such as the Byakugan or Sharingan may be able to notice small differences in the disguise, and can therefore see through it

[/b]This technique can be used for creative purposes, such as building shelters, or sculptures. The constructs are as hard as stone and can withstand B-rank ninjutsu and techniques. The constructs are as hard as steel, and as such require the second mastery of this tree. The constructs formed by this technique follow a 10x10x5 maximum. (10 meters long, 10 meters wide, 5 meters thick.)

[/b]The extended appendage cannot stretch more than 10 meters, also, enlargement can only be 4x times the natural size of the appendage at a maximum. It should be noted that larger appendages are also heavier, and thus slower.

[/b]This technique requires the second mastery of the Kurikata's technique tree and Gyouketsu no Jutsu. The user must be standing perfectly still during the charging of this technique. The user will travel a maximum of 25 meters unless they hit something. The speed at which the user moves while being launched is equivalent to the 3rd Gate.

Monosugoi Hekiken no Jutsu (Shattering Burst Fist Technique)

[/b]This technique requires Bukkakkou no Jutsu, and Gyouketsu no Jutsu. This technique can be coupled with the clan's enlargement capabilities to greatly enhance damage, as well as increase the speed of enlarged appendages. Only two bursts can be used per turn.

While this technique is active the user cannot move from their location, and are incapable of perfroming other techniques.

Dosoudai Kyojin no Jutsu (Grand Earth Titan Technique)

[/a]. The titan formed by this technique stand at 35 meters and is known as the ultimate go-to-technique for matters concerning absolute destruction. While in this form, the user's connection to the earth is perfected.

Note:While in this form, the user is contained within the head of the beast, acting as its brain. While manipulating the giants body, the user cannot move whatsoever. The user can however execute any Doton technique without handseals It should be noted that this technique's charge time begins after the user melts into the ground.
