One of the most prestigious clans and bloodlines to have passed through the ninja world, the Uchiha Clan were one of the founding noble families of Konohagakure no Sato, making the Hidden Leaf famous - and to many, infamous - for their talents. Because their clan possessed the Sharingan or "Wheel Eye," the Uchiha excelled at being able to read and fend off attackers.

Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan, making it a highly rare, recessive gene tucked away only within a chosen few. This doujutsu gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and see the tricks and movements required to be able to complete it. However, the clan member can not copy techniques which are unique to another bloodline. It also gives one the ability to cast jutsu techniques only possible by possessing the eye.

Finally, the clan itself is known for their ties to fire, to the point it requires its male youth wishing to ascend as men in the clan a strict display of their Katon prowess.

3. All forms of the Sharingan eye must be unlocked through role-play, rather than simply purchased. These events should be relatively extensive (and in often times life-threatening), in which the Sharingan eyes is truly the only method of success. This procedure does not need to be strenuous, however; you're more than welcome to have a simple sparring match with a friend and activate your eye, so long as it's a good read.

4. Mangekyou Sharingan can only be unlocked if both eyes are within 30 meters of each other when the conditions are met, additionally transplanted sharingan can still unlock Eternal Mangekyou through normal means.

MASTERY

[/u][/b] Having mastered their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan member learns to better incorporate their predictions with actual movements. Synchronizing their evolved sight with more concise and specific movements, the Uchiha clan member achieves a higher state of agility (25% - roughly half that of the first gate). While this doesn't make the Uchiha impossible to hit, they are relatively more agile than your typical shinobi.


-Tier Two - Advanced Training, the Spirit: Along with excelling in taijutsu, Uchiha clan members specialize in ninjutsu and genjutsu based combat. Through vigorous training, the user has elevated themselves to an unparalleled level of harmonizing their dojutsu with a variety of genjutsu in their arsenal. Because of this, they are capable of locking their opponents in any genjutsu they currently know via eyesight alone (i.e their opponent looking them in the eyes).


-Tier Three - Perfect Mimicry: One of the Uchiha's clans most feared powers is the ability to copy nearly any technique they see their opponent perform. However, without proper training, the user quickly forgets the technique shortly after being used. To eliminate this weakness, there are those of the clan who strive to strengthen their memorizing abilities above all else. For a cost (barring themselves from the previous two tiers of perks), the user can permanently memorize any viable technique (non-kekkei touta; non-kekkei genkai) they copy using the clan's Higi technique.

It should be noted that the this mastery allows the user to copy a technique, even if they do not currently have the elemental release. However, simply copying the technique does not open the path to the rest of the tree (essentially, the user can only use the elemental technique they copied).

[/b] Once cast, Izanagi will devour the ‘life’ of a single Sharingan owned by the user regardless of whether or not they deactivate the jutsu (via kai). This technique will last for two turns, not including its activation turn (so a total of 3), per eye before the Sharingan being used up will close forever. In the event that the user has more than one Sharingan, they MUST deactivate the jutsu in order to ensure they can retain at least one working eye.

Izanami (Foremother God)

[/b] This will largely be treated as an Izanagi counter (at which time it will be instant and require no preparation), however, it can be practically used outside of this role. The techniques takes three turns to prepare before it can begin to be used. After the handseals are cast, the user must then over the next three turns, record any and all movement done by both user and target. This means that any time the technique is cast it will only “record” those actions occurring within the three turn preparation window before the technique becomes active. This requires the user to have unbroken visual contact with their opponent for the duration of the three turn prep window or else they must start over.

Once the three turn preparation window has been observed and the user is ready to cast the technique, one additional handseal is required. At this juncture Izanami is cast and the target is subjected to a Genjutsu loop of events consisting of those recorded during the three turn prep period. Once in the loop, the target is locked in until the end of the thread. Once cast, Izanami will devour the ‘life’ of a single Sharingan owned by the user.

The Mangekyou Sharingan is considered the final stage of the eye, and, in many cases, the "perfect evolution" of any dojutsu known to the shinobi world. It possesses powerful techniques that many could only dream of one day possessing. However, acquiring the Mangekyou is incredibly difficult, with the most known being quite costly:

Note: Aside from the third option, both the killing of the best friend and saving of a beloved will be handled on a case by case basis. Presuming you wish to obtain the Mangekyou via these two methods, you'll first need to perform the acquiring thread (i.e kill them or try to save them). Then, you'll need to send Administration your thread, along with a list of the other threads you and your friend(s) have been in, building your story.

Administration will discuss at length whether or not we feel your story is compelling enough to warrant the evolution. We aren't going to put a limitation on how many threads you have to be in, or what you should do to clarify you two are best friends. Write a compelling story, execute your path of acquisition, and wait to see the results!

Upon achieving Mangekyou Sharingan, full-blooded Uchiha will be be automatically allowed to obtain Susano'o plus 2 other S-ranked eye techniques (free of EXP cost). If you choose not to take Susanno'o, you will be able to take 3 S-ranked eye techniques, all of which will apply wear and tear on the sharingan as it is used-- eventually leading to character blindness. This only applies to members with both of their eyes.

It's no secret that this final form of the Sharingan causes the user to go blind after an extended period of use. As of right now, Uchiha are capable of using the Mangekyou Sharingan techniques a grand total of thirty times before total blindness sets in. After fifteen uses, the user's eye sight will be reduced to fifty percent (see image). Once the user reaches five uses left, their vision is reduced to twenty-five percent (see image), with total blindness setting in at zero. Unfortunately, not even the Sharingan can strengthen the user's vision (the states shown are with the Sharingan active).

It should be noted that only using the techniques associated with the Mangekyou Sharingan deteriorate one's eyesight. Simply activating the eye has no effect on the user's eyes. Furthermore, once blinded, the user may transplant other Sharingan in their place and retain their Mangekyou evolution. However, the blindness moves at an even faster pace on these new eyes, diminishing the usage of Mangekyou techniques by 5 each time a single eye is replaced. This is not set in effect by blindness caused by Izanagi or Izanami.

The only known cure for this blindness is to transplant another clan member's Mangekyou Sharingan (any pair of Mangekyou will do, though family member's eyes are the best for the process), thereby unlocking what is known as the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. This gives the user's unlimited usage of their Mangekyou.

[/b] At both the Genin and Chuunin rank, Susano'o takes three full turns to completely manifest, and each "phase" of the technique boasts its own offensive and defensive properties. At the rank of Jounin, the user has the option of summoning "phases" or the complete form of Susano'o at will.

[/b] A partial summoning can be achieved one just the first turn. At this juncture the user can manifest either portions or the entire skeletal structure of Susano'o, but none of its weapons. This stage has significant openings in its defense, largely protecting the core, leaving gaps along the extremities.


-Phase Two: By the second turn, the user is capable of bringing out the muscled form of Susano'o. During this stage the user is significantly encompassed by the armor and can manifest the summon's weapons. This stage, while entirely covered by the armor, has fewer defenses than the final form Susano'o.


-Phase Three: By the third turn the Susanoo can be fully manifested in its armored form. At this stage the user is completely enshrouded by the armor and gains full benefit from its impressive defense as well as manifesting its weapons. This stage is arguably the strongest incarnation of the Susano'o forms. It at this point that the massive worth of chakra is drained, and the High cost to sustain it kicks into effect.It goes without saying that the offensive and defensive capabilities of this technique are utterly astounding. Even the phase one of this technique was capable of dampening the damage from Kirin (one of the most destructive abilities in the Naruto universe) so that its user could survive (albeit still injured). Likewise, the sheer might of this technique can seemingly penetrate a wide variety of potent barriers as well.

Gakidou (Hungry Ghost)

Tsukuyomi (God of the Moon)

[/b] Tsukuyomi can be cast without the Mangekyou eye activated; however, one form of the Sharingan must be used and the "wear and tear" accompanied with Mangekyou techniques still takes place. The base form of this technique requires eye-contact, no matter how brief. However, for an additional cost (1 Massive) the user can forgo the need for eye-contact and simply cast the illusion by looking at their target. When used in this particular way however, Tsukuyomi cannot be used again for the remainder of the thread.

Due to the intensity of the Genjutsu, this illusion can actually inflict enough "pain" perceived by the mind to kill victims caught within its grasp. Inside of this illusion, the user has absolute control of the perception of time and space, essentially bestowing upon them the ability to "change reality as they see fit." Entire years of torture can occur in the matter of a blink in an eye, and the wear and tear of each painful encounter will swarm the victim's body (once released) in a sudden moment.

This technique is incapable of being disrupted by the effects of "kai," and can only be broken by a surge of chakra equivalent to the eighth celestial gate, a bijuu, disruption from an outside source, or by another pair of Mangekyou Sharingan (on the other hand, a Jounin Uchiha [non-implants] may shatter this illusion with the Fully Activated, Third Tomoe Sharingan for a 2x High cost).

Kamui (God's Majesty)

[/b] This unique ability can be separated into two entirely different phases: teleportation and intangibility. Likewise, it can be performed with or without the Mangekyou Sharingan activated.

[/b] This phase of the Kamui ability allows the user to warp objects in and out of an entirely different dimension. Despite the power of this ability, there is a maximum size and number to the objects that a user can transport (in and out) at any single moment. The size cannot be more than x10 the size of your average human body, and no more than five objects at once. It should be noted that Kamui is capable of teleporting nearly anything caught in its path, from entirely ethereal constructs (such as Rasengan) to corporeal items (weapons, bodies, etc); however, the user must be able to see the object in question. Once inside the alternative dimension, there is no method of escaping unless the user wishes to release you. This takes one full post to complete, and if the victim moves from designated location, will need to be recast (the chakra cost will still take effect).


-Intangibility: Considered to be the close quarters version of the ability, or self-inflicted, this allows the user to turn the transporting capability of Kamui on themselves. This allows the user to instantly, at their will, teleport a specific portion (up to their entire body) into the alternative dimension linked to this dojutsu. Generally being overlapped by the incoming object in question, this allows the user to appear "intangible," as if the attack is simply slipping through them. Sustaining the usage of this technique per turn requires an increment of one High worth of chakra.

Using the teleportation aspect of Kamui (external) has its drawback, though. You can only teleport objects in or out in a single post; this means you can't teleport something into the alternative dimension and out of it in the same post. Furthermore, you cannot use the teleportation and intangibility aspect of Kamui simultaneously. Beyond that, only teleporting objects into the alternative dimension causes the wear and tear associated with the Mangekyou eye (i.e uses a "charge"). Using the "intangibility" aspect does not.

Kotoamatsukami (Distinguished Heavenly Gods)

[/b] This jutsu requires 3 full turns during which the user is within 2 meters of the target. There is an incredibly long "cooldown" period after each use, in which the technique cannot be accessed again (one month oocly from the date of use). Each eye holds its own charge, and thusly its own cooldown. This technique does not require eye contact, or that the Sharingan even be visible; the user simply needs to be able to see their victim. The effects of the mind control only last for the duration of the thread in which it is used. However, even after the thread has been complete, the user will not have even realized anything has changed; they will continue on, not suspecting their decision(s) to have been altered in any way, shape or form. Even among the Mangekyou, this ability is incredibly rare, and as such, only three members will be able to obtain it at any given time.

Kansei Susano’o (True Susano’o)

Note: This technique requires the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, and can only be used once per thread. Kansei Susano’o has three forms, unstable, stabilized, and armor:

[/b][/a]: This form of the Susano’o is merely double the size of the traditional construct. The offensive and defensive capabilities of the Susano’o are doubled as well, giving the user quite an edge during battle. This form still lacks the “legs”, however, and is still considered relatively incomplete. This form can be sustained for a maximum of three turns; after that, the player has the option of either reverting this form to the traditional Susano’o, or progressing to the stabilized form.

Stabilized:The perfected form of Susano’o, the stabilized form of this technique towers over all other forms, standing at nearly triple the height. The offensive and defensive capabilities of this form are comparable to the tailed-beasts, and can erase large land formations in the blink of an eye (a swing of its sword is comparable to a full bijuu dama). This form can be sustained for a maximum of two turns before dissipating, wherein all other forms of Susano’o will no longer be available for the duration of the thread.[/ul][/ul]
Kansei Susano’o's final form takes the form of a great armor:

[/b][/a]: The last form of the Susano’o is a set of armor projected over a giant creature like a summon or bijuu. This will vastly multiply all of their abilities by x5 as well as giving them the 'ultimate shield' as armor. This form can be sustained for a maximum of five turns before dissipating, wherein all other forms of Susano’o will no longer be available for the duration of the thread.
