From ferocious lions to giant hawks, dangerous sea predators and towering behemoths, their natural majestic beauty hides the immense power and primal ferocity that allows them to survive in the world's most dangerous corners. All it takes is knowledge and guidance - even the smallest cub of the smallest species can inflict terrible damage if given the chance.

While Beasts have often been known to pose one of the greatest risks to human-kind's survival, select warriors across the land have discovered the secret to tracking, hunting and even communicating with them, allowing the hunter to either gather rare game for pricey trade, or even exploit their talents elsewhere. A select few have learned how to harness their immense power, how to use their inherent force for their own goals, and how to coexist with them, creating a bond between beast and human never before seen. The result?

A whole new level of power.

[/b] animal under their control per 2000 EXP they have accumulated, allowing the growth of an amazingly powerful pack under the control of a supreme pack leader. Note: A Monster Tamer may have any number of animals but may only use their 'pack' in battle, the others may be sold at a price determined by the Tamer. (be reasonable, no 500k for a shark.)

-A bond created between creature and master is one that will transcend the harshest of conditions and as proof of that, even if the master drops this profession, they will still retain their animal companion.

-A Tamer may go through an event with their animal to have it grow to higher rank. One may achieve this feat of growth by under going an Easy-difficulty quest of the desired rank. A C-rank wolf may grow to a B-rank wolf by completing a B-rank quest. Though the grown creature will need to be passed through customs again with its new rank and technique.

-During the Taming process of Mythic and Legendary Creatures, a GM will play the creature true to its Personality and Nature. Also all Tracking and Taming will be done by dice-roll, however if the first attempt doesn't work they may continue to try until they are successful.

-It is important to search for your quarry in a location they will actually dwell, while many creatures can be found practically anywhere such as wolves and wild cats. You will NEVER find a Sea Monster in Kusa no Kuni or the depths of Tsuchi or Kaze no Kuni -.- any attempt at this will be voided.

Creatures, much like puppets, are a part of their owners and as such gain a small bio as their own. Leading to all creatures having to be passed through customs.

Type: list the type that applies to the creature. Common, Mythic, and Legendary.

Archetype(s): list the archetype (or archetypes provided it is a Chimera or 'mixed' Archetype.) that apply to the creature.

Mythic Archetypes: Sea Monster, Dinosaur, Dragon, Mythic Equestrians (Unicorn, Pegasus, Sleipnir), Humanoid (Gorgon, Minotaur, Sphinx, Harpy, etc...), and Elemental (NOTE: Elemental Archetypes are incorporeal unless combined with another Archetype and made Legendary).

Legendary Archetypes: Chimera (Combination of any of the other types, the largest amount of types capable of being created within one animal is 5 types).

This technique IS universal due to the fact that many Chimera are unique and it is unlikely to find multiple of the same combination of Archetypes. However, the Tamer must know all forms of Taming of the Chimera to accomplish this, for example, if a tamer were to try and tame a Nightmare both Advanced Elemental and Advanced Mammal Taming would need to be known for both its Fire and Horse qualities.

Note: This technique will put the beast into a fit of rage and it will not stop until killed tamed or knocked out and while in this state neither Beast Confuse or Beast Calm will effect the animal. While in this state, creatures require two successful dice-rolls to tame.

If used on a Mythic animal they will instead be under the effect of Beast Enrage. The effect of this technique on Legendary Chimeras depends on their composition, if they are comprised more of Common Archetypes they will enter a daze for 2 turns, if they are primarily comprised of Mythic Archetypes they will instead be effected by Beast Enrage, if they are comprised equally of Common and Mythic Archetypes they will enter a daze for 1 turn.
