While freedom, openness and choice is a staple here, it is an unavoidable fact that throughout the series of Naruto, characters have constantly been labeled as 'Classes' which are specialized at doing a certain thing. Classes then would refer to a specific skill or art a character is proficient at - in this case, either Ninjutsu or Taijutsu.
Establishing what Class your character will be is important because it will directly determine what they can and can't achieve within those specific fields. Classes are meant not only to balance the system and keep everyone at equal levels with each other, but also to provide a diversity which will bring people together for the sake of RP. After all, what's the fun of having a character that can do...everything?
Please keep in mind that while Classes affect knowledge of most jutsu, Kekkei Genkai, and Clans are exempt from this due to their inborn nature.
Ninjutsu Focus
Those who would rather focus on the more spiritual aspect of combat boast a somewhat more impressive chakra reserve than those do not. Because of this, those who choose to be a Ninjutsu Focus will have an additional x2 High worth of chakra added to their base pool.
Taijutsu Focus
Preferring to harness the physical aspect of their body, opposed to the spiritual, Taijutsu Focus-focused ninjas boast a far more impressive physique than your typical ninja. Because of this, the user's speed, agility, and reflexes are roughly x2 that of your average shinobi. This Focus perk overrides Gate speed until the Gate's speed is greater than this bonus.
Ninjutsu Master
Complete spiritual awareness, a Ninjutsu Master has become completely in tune with their chakra and the spirit it possesses to the point of being unmatched by any other. Because of this, those who choose to be a Ninjutsu Master will have an additionalx1 Massive and x2 High worth of chakra added to their base pool. In addition any extra acquired chakra will yield an additional x2 Highs each.
Taijutsu Master
The pinnacle of physical power, a Taijutsu Master has trained their body to the absolute limit, surpassing any and all standards set by normal means. Because of this, the user's speed, agility, and reflexes are roughly x3 that of your average shinobi while their strength is x2 that of normal. This Master perk overrides Gate speed until the Gate's speed is greater than this bonus.
Jack of All Trades
Rather than focusing on either the art of Ninjutsu or Taijutsu entirely, shinobi who walk the path of no mastery; those known as the "Masters of Nothing," comfortably spread their talents across a wide variety of skills in order to make themselves well-rounded. While these shinobi do not possess a larger than average chakra pool, or a wonderfully conditioned body with incredible speed, they do possess the know-how that the both of the others do not. Those who walk this path are able to master any non-specific art (i.e things that do not require being a ninjutsu or taijutsu class), and two of the arts which do require being either a Taijutsu or Ninjutsu.
Omnipotent
A complete enigma almost as rare as the fabled Rinnegan, an Omnipotent is the definition of talent in the shinobi world. They have the uncanny ability to overcome nearly any hurdle through sheer tenacity and power. An Omnipotent has both the Nin and Tai Focus perks giving them a x2 boost to speed, agility, and reflexes as well as an additional x2 Highs of chakra, they may only learn a single release and and any Class specific abilities (such as Puppetry or Hitenryuu). Despite the great access and power this Class offers it has its own failings; the first, an Omnipotent only has four skill slots, the second, is that they cannot learn universal or basic styles (such as Goken), and the third, they cannot gain a Profession (Medic is the only acception and does take up Bonus Slots) and may only learn a single Kinjutsu, regardless of perks.
