Hakai no Ken is a very... shall we say unconventional style of fighting. While many practices of Taijutsu teach one to throw away their feelings and learn the grace and stances of a style or in reverse teaches them to go off with reckless abandon and to shatter everything in their path. Hakai no Ken teaches the practitioner to walk the line between order and chaos.
Founded upon the concept of a particular set of deities, Hakai no Ken draws on the legend of a demigod who was consumed with rage and fought to destroy the demons that had emerged to wreak havoc on the earth. The demigod's own brethren had sought to banish him for his wrath, however he still continued to fight the good fight and destroyed the hordes of demons until the world was safe. Even if the world turned against him he didn't turn his rage on anyone except for those he was meant to destroy. The name of the demigod was Asura.
Commonly in the beginning the practitioners will meditate on the focus of their anger letting it build within them then after they are filled with the hatred they will spar or practice against dummies loosing their anger at their target. This method teaches one to harness their inner hatred and unleash it but to also focus it into an effective style of fighting. Though its more a method of stress relief for teenagers, the few more dedicated of the style of attained a unique power capable of shattering their opposition with clarity, The wrath of six blazing fast fists.
