Kumashi- Berserkers

Also known as a Berserker, or bear-wearer, the practitioners of the Kumashi arts have trained deep within the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni and had been a great threat during the times of the warring era in the shinobi world. Once the dust settled, these warriors spread out to other lands and other villages growing stronger and more prominent in battle until their kind populated every major village of the continent.

These warriors grew into using light and durable armor fitted with fur to symbolize the spirit of the beast they emulated. The techniques they use in battle copy and replicate the massive beast which they idolize as the greatest battler in the world, using pure unbridled rage and brute force to cleave through obstructions and obstacles. The axes they wield are massive though they wield them like they are nothing but an extension of their body. Masters of this fighting style have said to have walked 'The Path of The Destroyer'.

Restrictions

2. Kumashi wielders are restricted to large weapons, however, it is compatible with Ju Kenshi.

3. Due to the unrefined and beastly state of this style, Samurai are forbidden from practicing it, however, Ronin may pursue the art.

MASTERY

[/b][/u]: Most Berserkers learn early on that their weapon is a part of themselves, an extension of their will, of their being. This bond and unrelenting sense of power enables the Kumashi to not only wield their axe deftly with one hand but also doubles the range of all Kumashi techniques.


-Tier Two – Unstoppable Force: Kumashi are known for their ferocity and strength in battle, raging through hell to smite their enemy with a single mighty blow. This focus is accomplished through tenacity and training, becoming one with their idol, the bear. This symbiosis with their teachings gives the Kumashi the ability to cleave through C-rank and lower barriers with normal attacks (non-techniques).


-Tier Three – Berserker State: True masters of the style of Kumashi are capable of weathering any storm, any conflict, any struggle, to complete their object of and destroy their target. This state of being has become the pinnacle of fighting within Kumashi, While in this state it has been rumored a Kumashi may have their heart ripped from their chest but they will continue to rage. This is the Berserker State.

When this Mastery is obtained, the practitioner will begin to generate Wrath points which accumulate through various techniques, similarly to a Medic's Infuin. Once 10 Wrath points have been generated the Berserker state may be activated and sustained for 5 turns, and for every additional 5 Wrath the duration may be extended by a single turn. While in the Berserker State, the user gains +200% strength, can weather B-rank and lower attacks with no damage dealt to them, and they gain access to techniques that can only be executed in this state. Wrath points stay with the practitioner across their threads so the PC is responsible for keeping track of how much they have.

Unlike most techniques involving multiple strikes, all 6 strikes are performed nearly at once requiring perception on par with a Three Tomoe sharingan to accurately follow. Generates 1 point of Wrath

[/b] While the chain is capable of being thrown 10 meters, once locked it will pull the target until they are only 5 meters away from the user, however, only one combatant may be locked to the Kumashi at a time and requires an S-rank attack to break the chain. Like other restricting techniques, this can also be broken by entering the Gates, a Bijuu Cloak, etc...

[/b] Requires Thrill of Battle, ends Thrill of Battle upon use. The first version lets loose a forward wave similar to Overpower with an increased range of 25 meters, a knockback of 15 meters, and double the amount of Strength accumulated during Thrill of Battle, but is only usable before the bear awakens (the first 3 turns). After the bear has awakened, this technique retains twice the power attained during Thrill of Battle, the user may ignore C-rank damage, the range of all Kumashi techniques is Tripled (ignores 1st Master), while the bear lasts a number of turns equal to the amount of times the user gained strength from Thrill of Battle. The 1st version generates 3 points of Wrath while the 2nd version generates 5 points of Wrath.
