Raiden- Aeons of Lightning

The Raiden Kekkei Genkai are unique beings comprised of the Lightning element, living plasma. Said to be children of gods or even some bizarre science experiment gone awry, many view the Raiden as sadistic beings of nature that live only to terrorize humanity and murder them in cold blood, some would be right. Due to the cold, even harsh, treatment the Raiden received from people they began to turn on the populace of Kaminari no Kuni committing a massacre as a wave of lightning swept across the land leaving them as one of the most powerful clans left in the Land of Thunder.

After their defection to Ame no Kuni they were welcomed and their abilities analyzed by the new comrades made within the Land of Rain. Most would struggle to give it an accurate description, but most who can describe it simply as incredibly dense lightning. Most abilities deal with strikes of electricity dense enough to slam into someone with real mass or dense enough to deflect attacks.

MASTERY

[/b][/u]: Considered powerful but often very sadistic ability, the Raiden can manipulate neural electricity and through this can replicate their own techniques through the body of someone they strike. However, this does come with a very strict guideline; the technique cast from the victim's body may only be one rank higher than that of the technique that struck it (two if the victim has Raiton).


-Tier Two – Thunder and Lightning: Thought to be born form the very lightning that falls from the black clouds over Kaminari no Kuni and Ame no Kuni, the Raiden are adepts at controlling and manipulating the element which comprises their being. This 'symbiosis' allows for much more conservative use of their plasma decreasing the chakra cost required to perform all Raiden and Raiton based jutsu by a single tier.


-Tier Three – Fallen From Grace: The Raiden's ability to turn themselves into a construct of nothing more then plasmatic electricity is no doubt a pinnacle in the world of lightning users. However, even this is limited to a certain period of time. And while they have not found a way to completely remove the need to turn themselves back into their human forms, there are a few masterful shinobi within the Raiden that have extended the number of times they are capable of executing this fabled ability.

A Master Raiden of this level have effectively doubled the amount of turns they can turn their body into lightning, as well as the number of times they can convert a single appendage into electricity (This means the user will be able to convert their entire body into plasma a total of ten times per thread, and a limb up to twenty times per thread). This allows Raiden to shock someone unconscious by touch for a High of chakra.

Nagashi no Jutsu (Electrify Technique)

[/b] This technique is a prerequisite for ALL other Raiden techniques. The user may change their entire body into energy and plasma a maximum of five times per thread. However, the user may convert any appendage into electricity a total of ten times per thread. Due to being able to transform themselves into electricity at any point in time, though converting two limbs at once counts as two uses, all Raiden are practically invulnerable to non-elemental physical strikes, however they are extremely susceptible to Fuuton. This is due to their body becoming destabilized as the plasma begins to branch out of the body leaving them unable to shift into their plasma state.
