Tsurugi-Ato is the Art of the Broadsword, an ancient and well known battle style often closely associated with 'knightly' warriors that roam the shinobi world. Began by warriors closely associated with blacksmiths, Tsurugi-Ato utilizes broadswords in their combat using their structure to execute powerful attacks. While Kenjutsu is usually seen as the 'typical' sword style, Tsurugi-Ato is much more specialized.

Restrictions

[/b][/font] Tsurugi-Ato uses one-handed swords; namely, the broadsword. While this does not mean a user cannot place both hands upon their sword, it is simply reference for size (and thusly weight).

MASTERY

[/b][/u]: Very early on in their training, practitioners of Tsurugi-Ato develop much greater control and power that they channel through their blade to fight effortlessly. This early level of development allows them to dance through battle striking that which stands in their way. Attaining this mastery grants the practitioner a +100% increase to Striking Strength and Striking Speed.


-Tier Two – Double Down: Through diligent training and great fortitude, Tsurugi-Ato adepts gain a much deeper understanding of their “Drive” technique. At this stage the user may generate much more energy over their sword making it glow a bloody red rather than its typical pale red, this powerful layer of chakra allows for the user to launch off two Drives in quick succession per use and reduces the cooldown to a single turn rather than two. Attaining this Mastery also allows the user to use Tsurugi-Ato techniques with great swords (such as a claymore).


-Tier Three - Jackpot: Having becoming a great master of the Tsurugi-Ato battle style, the practitioner is versed in the ebb and flow of battle studying and analyzing movements of their enemy and easily move to cut them down in the smallest possible opening. Gaining this Mastery increases the user's Striking Strength and Speed further then the st Tier Mastery with +300%, allows the use of A-rank techniques in the “All or Nothing” technique, and lastly. Reduces the chakra consumption of all Tsurugi-Ato techniques by 1 tier.

[/b] Only B-rank and lower Tsurugi-Ato techniques may be used for this combo, however all techniques used receive a 1 tier drop in chakra consumption during the combo as well as S-rank for the duration of the combo (this does not increase the techniques power but ensures that they won't be repelled and break the combo). Like most multi-hit techniques, if the first blow lands the following 9 most likely will as well. Unlike most multi-hit techniques, if the first blow does not land the user can quickly recover and follow with their second blow and so on if that blow does not land either.

The overall cost of this technique is either x1 Massive or the total cost of all techniques performed, whichever cost is higher.

Note: This may only be used once per thread and requires a full turn charge to execute (the user may still move and fight while charging). The blade's full length reaches 75 meters straight up into the sky, when brought down the blade will create a gigantic explosion that spans 25 meters away from where the blade impacts making the entire blasting zone a 50x100 meter area.
