In addition to the main weapons a ninja carries into battle, they will also need to equip themselves with secondary items. These are many and varied, useful not for direct combat but through tactical manipulation. Secondary weapons can be purchased at a weapon shop at any time.

Description: Wire Strings can be used for rappelling, manipulating weapons, or to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent, sometimes even being able to slice through items when generating enough force to do so. They are a useful tool for a shinobi.

Exploding Note

Description: The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper infused with special chakra, layered over with a special script on it that serves to enable and facilitate its explosive properties. Its execution is simple - the ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log, and upon activation, the note is set and begins either a slow countdown burn, which eventually results in a large explosion, or the explosion in itself upon command.

Description: A ninja tool mostly used for widespread damage to a group of enemies. It's a metal sphere with kunai welded into it, which also has a plethora of hidden exploding tags that causes it to explode upon contact, sending out flying kunai and shrapnel.

Kunai (Throwing Knife)

Description: This throwing knife is one of the common weapons of a ninja. It is often kept in a holster on the leg in a pouch attached to the belt. What makes it so versatile and universal is the fact the Kunai can be used in conjunction with explosive tags and other weapons to form deadly combos out of simple, easily accessible items.

Kunai Spring

Special: May hold only one kunai. Takes up two 'pack' slots. Kunai springs out twice as fast as a kunai traveling through the air, to be used as a melee weapon or for defense.
Description: This item allows the user to instantly extend and retract kunai from their sleeve using a spring-loaded wire.

Kunai Blades

Description: These are kunai-like blades wielded by shinobi for melee purposes when their Main Weapon's fail them. They have the general appearance of kunai with similar bases, but the blades instead are curved, elongated and single-edged, giving them similar appearance and function to swords. Each of the blades has a small hole right near its long, bandaged hilt, which at its edge sports a larger versions of the standard ring all kunai have.

Shuriken (Ninja Star)

Description: A shuriken, like kunai, is one of the more basic weapons employed by ninja of all classes. They are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, no more than a few inches long, and are extremely useful for throwing. Although small, they can be used to distract, or, if accurate enough, to kill. They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also a benefit in aerodynamics, as it ensures more accurate trajectories.

Description: Although there is nothing special about these enlarged creation, they are nonetheless deadly. These large shuriken are hurled by the user at an opponent, as their large size increases the damage they inflict on the target as they fly through the air and gain momentum.

Fuuma Shuriken

Description: Named after the famous clan, the Fūma Shuriken is a large, four-bladed shuriken possessing per-eminent sharpness and lethality. Its four blades can be collapsed for easy storage, leading to its nickname, the 'Shadow Windmill'. In its folded state, all four arms of the shuriken are folded together. When fully unfolded, the large shuriken can be thrown through the air causing great damage.

Senbon (Throwing Needles)

Description: Senbon were first used by doctors in acupuncture, but due to its reported widespread effectiveness, it was quickly adopted by ninja in order to hit points on the body that can induce paralysis, loss of consciousness, or even death.

Senbon Launcher

Special: Launcher holds up to 5 Senbon. Takes up 2 'Pack' slots. Senbon travel 20 meters at double their normal speed before losing effectiveness and crashing.
Description: Usually hidden on either of the user's forearm, this launcher can be used to send needles at their opponents at higher speeds with better accuracy. Up to five needles can be launched at once, resulting in deadly surprise.

Makibishi (Ground Spikes)

Description: Makibishi are small, sharp objects that are mainly used to inhibit someone from walking in a certain direction or area, since they would injure the ninja's feet if they tried to walk over them. Although ineffective when used individually, they can severely cripple a whole enemy unit with appropriate use.

Kusari Fūbō (Chain Wind Staff)

Description: A tool used by shinobi for ranged blunt force, it's a short wooden staff with two chains attached at both sides, that it's used like a sort of boomerang. The quick rotation of the two chains was shown to be powerful enough to damage and even shatter thin metal such at helmets or armor, as well as being able to knock anyone hit on the head unconscious.

Description: This combustible comes in the form of a long, skinny cylinder, no more than a few inches long. At the top lies a pin which, when pulled, activates the grenade's internal components. Description: When going into battle, a ninja may store a small combustible ember in their mouth. The ember must be bitten to be activated. The ninja can then spit the ember at a combustible substance to help ignite it, with the blast no more than a foot or two of concussive force capable of ignition, with assistance.

Description: As its name implies, the user equips these retractable wrist blades so that the attach to their forearm without risking exposure. These blades can spring forth when needed to surprise any opponent fought in hand to hand combat.

Kamakiri (Scissor Pincher)

Description: Another useful tool turned weapon, the pincher allows the shinobi to get through tough material that might otherwise block their path. On top of this, these scissor-like pinchers can be squeezed to pinch and slice through any opponent, as discovered by the workers that employed the tool and made it infamous as a weapon when defending their village from robbers.

Description: Claws are useful weapons for a ninja to have as backup mainly due to their reliability. Though difficult to hide, they are nonetheless effective as a secondary means of attacking. Kiri-Oni even come with modification options, such as ranged options, and even a conjunction system which mixes the power of certain poisons and dispensable items alongside the claw.

Special: A single 100 foot chain per pack; extensions come in measurements of 100 feet, for the same price during re-purchasing.
Description: This modification allows the user to make their claw a projectile based weapon by having it shoot out and then be retracted by the chain. Highly dense, the metal was made to last. The claw itself shoots out roughly at the speed of two meters per second.
Cost: 5,000 Ryo for every 100 ft.

Description: Sockets essentially are pathways towards the Claw's modification. With this version, the Kiri-Oni will receive a series of internal passageway which essentially feeds any liquid the user desires and preloads into their weapons towards the bladed tips for immediate use.
